There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Spring is warm. Flowers bloom and trees grow new leaves. Birds sing in the morning. It is a beautiful time of year.
Summer is hot. The sun shines brightly. Children love to swim in the pool or play at the beach. Ice cream tastes best in summer.
Autumn is cool. Leaves turn red and yellow. They fall from the trees. Farmers harvest their crops. It is time for school to begin.
Winter is cold. Snow covers the ground. Children make snowmen and have snowball fights. Some animals sleep through the winter.
Each season is special in its own way.
